We are recruiting for all roles FOR 2026 - 2027 School Year - BOARD MEMBERS, chairs, and COMMITTEES!

  • Committee Chair positions are a two-year commitment so that some committees may have a chairperson in place for the 2026-2027 term. 

  • Volunteers for committees are always welcome!

EXECUTIVE BOARD OPEN ROLES:

  • Vice President(s) – Partner with the President(s) to support PTO leadership and ensure smooth operations. Help guide PTO initiatives, oversee volunteer committees, and support programs that engage families and enrich the KES community.
    Key qualities: Collaborative, organized, leadership-minded, flexible.

  • Treasurer(s) – Manage and oversee the PTO’s finances to help programs thrive. Keep accurate records, prepare budgets, and ensure that PTO funds are used for initiatives that benefit students, teachers, and families.
    Key qualities: Detail-oriented, responsible, trustworthy, comfortable with numbers.

  • Secretary(s) – Support the PTO through organization and communication. Attend meetings, maintain records, and help share information with the PTO and the broader school community.
    Key qualities: Organized, dependable, clear communicator, proactive.

  • Fundraising Chairs(s) – Lead efforts to raise funds that support PTO programs and events. Plan and coordinate initiatives that engage families and generate resources for classroom, school-wide, and enrichment activities.
    Key qualities: Creative, energetic, outgoing, persuasive, collaborative.

  • Communications Chair – Share news and keep the KES community informed and connected. Prepare the weekly newsletter, create event communications, and maintain the PTO’s digital platforms.
    Key qualities: Clear communicator, tech-savvy, creative, detail-oriented. Design and writing experience a plus!

  • Student Impact Coordinator(s) – Help design and support programs that directly enhance the student experience. Work with PTO committees and school staff to bring enrichment activities, assemblies, author visits, and other opportunities to life.
    Key qualities: Collaborative, enthusiastic, organized, student-focused, creative.

COMMITTEE SPOTLIGHT:

  • Buddy’s Bonus Activities Before & After School Committee – Help bring enriching before- and after-school programs to life! Volunteers support key roles—Program Coordinator, Registrar, and Quality Manager—working with the Before/After School Activities Chair to plan, launch, and manage courses. Responsibilities include scheduling vendors, managing registration, coordinating with supervisors and parents, monitoring program quality, and gathering feedback for future sessions.

    This role transitions in Spring 2026 and continues into Fall 2026. Multiple volunteers are needed to ensure the PTO can offer this diverse and engaging programming.
