Volunteer in 2024-2025

We are recruiting for all roles - BOARD MEMBERS, chairs and COMMITTEES!

We truly need your collective support, creativity, and intelligence. Every person is not only welcome but needed. Without your help, continuing the wonderful programs the KES PTO provides to our children won't be easy. Please consider helping out wherever you can.
All committees remain open for volunteers; however, a few specific needs are noted below.

OPEN BOARD / CHAIR / COMMITTEE POSITIONS:

Co-President: As the Co-President of the KES PTO, you'll lead and inspire the Executive Board, coordinate with school leadership and the Parent Council, manage the budget, and guide the entire PTO to create a thriving school community.
Treasurer: Get behind the scenes of school finance! As treasurer, you'll be key in tracking our funds and shaping our budget, ensuring every dollar is wisely spent to enrich student experiences.
Communications Coordinator: Do you have a way with words or a flair for design? Use your talents to create engaging newsletters and social media content, bridging the gap between home and school.
Beautification: Transform our school's appearance! This role offers a hands-on opportunity to make our campus a vibrant, welcoming space for everyone.
Bulletin Boards: Showcase your creativity to inspire young minds! Design interactive and educational displays that spark curiosity and celebrate school achievements.
Community Service: Become a community hero by coordinating meaningful service projects that support local families in need during the holidays.
Corresponding Committee: Be the pulse of school communication! Work closely with the Communications Chair to ensure vital information reaches every corner of our school community.
Enrichment: Bring excitement to learning! Collaborate with teachers and administrators to organize engaging field trips, activities, and assemblies for students.
Family Events: Create unforgettable after-school experiences for our #KESKids and their families! This role is perfect for those who love event planning and bringing people together.
Fifth Grade Liaison & Planning Committee: Shape the memories of our graduating fifth graders! As a liaison, you'll plan and execute activities and events to celebrate this milestone year.
Halloween Fair: Keep a beloved tradition alive! Take the lead in orchestrating a thrilling Halloween Fair that brings joy to the entire school community.
PARP (Pick A Reading Partner): Support literacy and imagination! Work with teachers to plan reading events, create certificates, and host the annual "Starry Story Night" to encourage a love of reading.
Spring Gala & Auction Fundraisesr: Play a central role in our biggest fundraising event! Help plan and execute a glamorous evening of auctions and entertainment to support our school's programs.
Welcoming Committee: Make new families feel at home! As a member of the welcoming committee, you'll guide newcomers through their transition into our school, ensuring they feel like part of the KES family.

WHAT TO KNOW:

Committee Chair positions are a two-year commitment so some committees may have a chairperson in place for 2024-2025.
Volunteers for committees are always welcome!
